Our mission
To fight inequality and reshape power structures by placing women, youth, Indigenous communities and other vulnerable groups at the center, in order to build a more equal future for Africa within the context of a more equal world.
Our values

Our purpose
At Oxfam in Africa, we thrive to be thought leaders and convener, producing knowledge, influence, speaking truth to power and facilitating dialogue. By amplifying local voices and fostering partnerships, we tackle injustices and promote sustainable development on the continent. When disaster strike, we're there to save lives, protect communities and help rebuild futures.
How we work is just as important as what we work on. We’re committed to constantly adapt our approach to better meet the needs and expectations of African partners and allies.
