  • Solar-powered pump: installation of 56 solar panels
  • Structure for diesel generator and other equipment
  • Piped water 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) into Gol’Anod
  • Elevated 50 cubic meter water tank
  • Concrete water trough for livestock
  • Piped water from tank to three tap locations in town
  • Distributed jerry cans to families to store water
  • Total cost: About $160,000
